Cannabis At Work – the Official Human Capital Partner of Business of Cannabis – is recruiting for a Business Development Representative position in the Greater Toronto Area.
The company hiring is a rapidly growing manufacturing software company aspiring to become the international market leader. They are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Business Development Representative to help them execute their strategic sales plan. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the sales team as they build their network and close deals with a focus on eastern Canada, particularly Ontario.
Key responsibilities include – but are not limited to:
- Becoming an evangelist for the company’s team and product, raising awareness about us by being yourself and making friends in the industry or introducing your existing network to the company.
- Producing creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book sales appointments and influence company revenue.
- Learning how the company’s product works, how it is utilized by a range of customers and being conversant in explaining general use cases, as well as answering implementation and support questions.
- Prospecting into strategic business accounts via social selling including, email, in-person and social media strategies. Team members are expected to conduct at least 20 outbound activities per day, which will be tracked in the company’s CRM.
