Reva Seth, Co-Founder & CEO

Reva is an entrepreneur, a best-selling author and a former Bay Street lawyer.

Reva comes to Business of Cannabis from an entrepreneurial and varied career that spans time as a Bay Street lawyer; over fifteen years as a strategic communications consultant working for FTSE 500 brands between the UK and Canada; policy advisor to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the 2015 platform. She has extensive experience in designing campaigns and occasions that drive strategic public conversations. Reva is a regular contributor to Fast Company as well as numerous other business and national publications.

Jay Rosenthal, Co-Founder & President

Jay has a 20-year career at the intersection of media, business, policy and politics.

Jay comes to Business of Cannabis from a career spanning Washington, D.C., Silicon Valley and Canada. With a background in government, he launched several successful consultancies and start-ups before launching Business of Cannabis. He has extensive experience in moving projects from ideas to launch bridging industries as varied as publishing and health tech.

Blaine Pearson, Co-Founder & CMO

Blaine’s career has always centred on nascent technologies and ideas.
Blaine was involved in helping to launch text messaging in Canada and co-founded one of the country’s first social media-specific agencies. She is co-founder of DOT DOT DASH, a communications consultancy that works with purpose-based clients like Patagonia, The Ontario Medical Association and The Lassonde School of Engineering at York University.  She has broad experience creating movements that galvanize action and unite communities of interest.

Bob Grossman, Partnership Lead

Bob brings a 30-year career of creating native and custom content to Business of Cannabis.

As the owner of consulting firm Bob Grossman & Associates, Bob has worked with companies of all sizes to create native and custom content that enables the reader to understand how they can benefit the advertiser’s product or service. A veteran of over 30 years working with such clients as Time Inc. and Forbes Media LLC, Bob spent 12 of those years at Southern Living working closely with the tourism industry. During his career Bob has found ways to be innovative and disruptive while producing great content and integrated marketing programs for advertisers and consistent profitable business for his clients. Along the way Bob has produced projects for Meredith Publishing, Pace Publications, D Magazine, The Texas Department of Commerce Tourism Division, Score! Las Vegas, and put together the first ever national sponsor for the Pro Football Hall of Fall of Fame Enshrinement Week. He has also been on the board of advisors of 3 high tech start ups.
