AUGUST 20, 2018, TORONTO - Cannabis is one of the most highly promising and potentially disruptive health, wellness and anti-aging therapies to become available to older Canadians in years. At the same time, those over the age of 65, are the fastest growing demographic in Canada. Before recreational legalization arrives in Canada, Business of Canada is bringing together these dynamic trends in a multi-day event focused on boomer consumers and members of health, wellness and lifestyle industries that serve them.
The 2018 Green + Silver Symposium will be comprised of three major components:
“Following on BofC success with the launch of Canada’s Inaugural Medical Cannabis Week, we are excited to lead the industry and the Canadian public in a deeper and more holistic look at the positive potential interplay of cannabis, seniors and optimal aging.” says Blaine Pearson, Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer of Business of Cannabis, “Our sessions are designed to bring medical and industry experts together with patients, caretakers and influencers to educate and empower them on their product, treatment and wellness choices.”
“Business of Cannabis has a proven track record of driving important cannabis-related conversations,” said Adam Saperia, Chief Operating Officer, Medical at Emblem Corp. “Education and an open dialogue with patients have always been top priorities for Emblem. We look forward to supporting Green + Silver and engaging in meaningful conversations about how cannabis can be part of optimal health and wellness for seniors.”
The sessions will be held in the GTA between October 10-12, 2018.
